The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit proposals for Cepheid GeneXpert Testing Supplies (6 VAMC s). A statement of work will be included in subsequent formal solicitation. The request for proposal (RFP) number is 36C24526R0114. This procurement is issued unrestricted. The formal solicitation will result in a single award firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for a base year and 4 option years. The medical centers supported are as follows: Beckley VAMC, Beckley, WV Martinsburg VAMC, Martinsburg, WV VA Maryland Health Care System, Baltimore, MD Washington DC VAMC, Washington, DC Louis A. Johnson VAMC, Clarksburg, WV Huntington VAMC, Huntington, WV The government will issue firm-fixed price delivery orders for each VA facility for base and option years upon availability of funds. The applicable NAICS code is 325413-In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing. When issued, the formal solicitation will be available via the contract opportunities website, HTTP://Sam.gov.
