This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services as prepared in accordance with the format in Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Subpart 12.212(b)(1), as supplemented in the attached Request for Quotation (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A firm-fixed price purchase order is anticipated. RFO 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services will be used. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is 36C26027Q0040 and is attached. This solicitation is unrestricted. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 311119, with a small business size standard of 650 employees. This NAICS code is subject is not subject to a waiver. The FSC/PSC is 8710. The Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 5, Health Service Area (HSA) 5.1, 1601 E. Fourth Plain Boulevard, Vancouver, WA 98661 is seeking to establish a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement to purchase research grade animal food and bedding. This is a brand name requirement. Service Location: VA Portland Healthcare System Portland campus VMU 3710 SW U.S. Veterans Hospital Road Loading Docks Building 101 and 103 Portland, OR 97239-2964 Other VMU s within the VISN 5/HSA 5.1 may be added in the future upon written agreement between the contractor and the Contracting Officer. The period of performance will be five-years: 01/01/2027 12/31/2031 Award will be based upon the evaluation factors listed in Section E of the attached RFQ.
