Virtual Hosting Solutions Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) Amendment 001 has been posted to address the questions received to date.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------SSC is advancing the modernization of the Government of Canada’s (GoC) on-premises virtualization footprint across enterprise data centres and regional or edge environments. Current and future requirements encompass largescale hosting needs, potentially supporting upwards of 150,000 Virtual Machines (VMs) while meeting strict security, data residency, and operational continuity expectations.This second round of Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) is the first phase of a procurement process by Shared Services Canada (SSC) for Virtual Hosting Solutions for enterprise on premises x86 environments. Suppliers are invited to pre-qualify in accordance with the terms and conditions of this ITQ in order to become “Qualified Respondents” for any later phases of the procurement process.This ITQ process is not a solicitation of bids or tenders. No contract will be awarded as a result of the activities during the ITQ phase. It is not a competitive evaluation for contract award, and failure to meet the requirements of this ITQ does not preclude a supplier from participating in the later RFP stage.
