NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) Description of Requirement: The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the item detailed below. Item Name: SIGHT, REFLEX NSN: 1240-01-5879345 GSIN: N6650, (UNSPSC): 31242100 Part No.: SU231A or EXPS3-0A NCAGE: 8PKQ7 or CA643 Quantity: 150, Unit of Issue: EA, to be delivered to Canadian Forces Protective Services Unit, 7 Vickers Gun Road, Nepean (Connaught Ranges), Ontario, Canada, K2K 2W6 by 14 January 2027. Equivalent may be offered. Security: There is no security requirements associated with this requirement. Applicable Trade Agreements: This procurement subject to the following Trade Agreements: CFTA, CCFTA, CANADA-COLOMBIA FREE TRADE AGREEMENT, CANADA-HONDURAS FREE TRADE AGREEMENT, CANADA-KOREA FREE TRADE AGREEMENT, CANADA-PANAMA FREE TRADE AGREEMENT, CPFTA. Proposed Period of Contract: The proposed period of the contract is from date of contract award to 31st, March 2027. Contracting Authority Information: Name: Erica Langwa Inquiries: Inquiries regarding this Request for proposal (RFP) requirement must be submitted to the Contracting Authority named above. RFP documents will be listed to Government Electronic Tender System (GETS). BIDDERS ARE ADVISED THAT “CANADABUYS.CA” IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DISTRIBUTION OF SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with any supplier on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. Where this notice and the RFP differ, the RFP shall prevail. Debriefing: Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.
