Requirement Description: Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement for the supply of a sintering furnace capable of sintering rare-earth-element (REE)-based magnetic materials to manufacture densified permanent magnets under vacuum, with a maximum achievable temperature of 1,400 °C or higher. Basis of Selection: The responsive bidder holding a Supply Arrangement for Laboratory and Scientific Equipment, Parts and Accessories, Services and Supplies with Public Works and Government Services Canada, that meets all mandatory technical criteria and has the lowest evaluated aggregate price, will be recommended for contract award.
