05How this is calculated

  1. We count tenders by their publication date on the official portal. Direct awards and other non-competitive methods are left out.
  2. Sectors come from keywords in the English titles, so they are approximate.
  3. Values are converted to dollars at approximate September 2026 exchange rates, and estimates above USD 2 billion are dropped: they are usually placeholders.
  4. Each portal publishes at its own pace and with its own delay.
