CDIC is a federal Crown corporation, with headquarters in Ottawa. CDIC is responsible for providing insurance against the loss of part or all of deposits, and for promoting and otherwise contributing to the stability of the financial system in Canada. These objectives are pursued for the benefit of persons having deposits with CDIC member institutions and in such a manner as will minimize the exposure of CDIC to loss. CDIC is also the resolution authority for CDIC member institutions. Further information about CDIC can be obtained at www.cdic.ca. Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (“CDIC”) is seeking to establish up to twenty (20) Supply Arrangements for Service Stream #1: IT Staff Augmentation Services and an unlimited number of Supply Arrangements for Service Stream #2: Project Delivery Services to provide information technology staff augmentation services and project delivery services as further described in Part 6 (Supply Arrangement and Statement of Work) for any one or both of the following two (2) Service Streams: Service Stream #1: IT Staff Augmentation Services Service Stream #2: Project Delivery Services on an as and when required basis until December 31, 2029. The Services described in the RFSA are meant to provide a high-level framework. The actual scope, deliverables, qualifications and requirements for the Services will be identified at the time of the requirement and further defined in a Service Request.  Barring any other conditions or international sanctions, Canadian Suppliers and Suppliers of an Applicable trading partner, as defined in Part 7 (Definitions) are eligible for this procurement. However, qualification under the Supply Arrangement does not guarantee eligibility to compete for all Service Requests. Eligibility for any individual Service Request will be determined by CDIC at the time of issuance of the Service Request based on applicable trade agreements, procurement policies and other legal requirements. Pursuant to the Policy on Reciprocal Procurement, eligibility to individual Service Requests against the Supply Arrangement may be limited to Canadian Suppliers and Suppliers of an Applicable trading partner. Suppliers of an Applicable trading partner will be determined at the individual requirement stage. Individual Service Requests will indicate which suppliers are eligible to compete. The Policy on Prioritizing Canadian Suppliers and Canadian Content in Strategic Federal Procurements may apply to individual Service Requests issued under a supply arrangement resulting from this procurement. Where applicable, those Service Requests will include any required clauses and certifications.
