Official description

Offer submissions must be submitted by 27 October 2026 by 14:00 EDT. The Defence Investment Agency, on behalf of the Department of National Defence, is soliciting bids for the acquisition of a Medium Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) capability. The requirement supports defence and security operations through the provision of deployable medium-range UAS capabilities for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, situational awareness, force protection, training, experimentation, and other operational requirements. The procurement includes the supply and delivery of a minimum of forty (40) UAS Systems, associated payloads, ground control stations, support equipment, technical publications, spare parts, software and firmware support, and train-the-trainer services. The requirement also includes airworthiness support, cybersecurity assurance, supply chain security, spectrum supportability, configuration management, and lifecycle sustainment requirements. This procurement is limited to qualified suppliers holding a Stream 1 Supply Arrangement under the Defence Drone Initiative (DDI).
